ensemble artist gareth rickards
Gareth is an actor, writer, teacher and graduate of Theatre Nepean (2005). As a founding member of Clockfire, Gareth has performed and collaborated in both Lei Hideaway and The Grief Parlour for their two inceptions as well as working as the outside eye on the first instalment of A Hunger Suite. Other theatre acting credits include Through These Lines by Cheryl Ward, References to Salvadore Dali Make Me Hot (Tap Gallery), Macbeth (Wildfire), Dole Diary (Bareskin) and X Marks The Spot (Version 1.0). As a writer, Gareth has written for Meet the Player, for Treehouse Media and collaborated as a writer with UberGumption Theatre on Titus; The Ultimate Murder Ballad Musical. As a teacher, Gareth has run devised theatre workshops for HSC students in NSW. For television Gareth has appeared in guest roles on Home and Away, Wonderland and also featured in the Emmy Award winning HBO miniseries The Pacific. He is a founding member of Layer Below Productions, a Sydney-based film initiative and is a proud member of the MEAA.
