Founder and Executive Director, Rare Earth Creative
Drawing on her extensive experience in cultural leadership, venue management and artist direction, Founder and Executive Director Raina Savage created RARE EARTH CREATIVE in 2025 primarily as a platform to promote, produce and provide advocacy and mentoring for independent women artists and First Nations creatives across Australia. Rare Earth Creative also provides strategic and creative advice and consultancy services to Local Government, independent and community run cultural institutions.

Rare Earth Creative is part of ETHICAL ENGAGEMENT PTY LTD a company co-founded in 2010 with Wajarri Senior Elder Colin Hamlett (dec'd), and operates alongside ETHICAL ENGAGEMENT CONSULTANCY the company's Native Title, Cultural Heritage and First Nations business support arm. Working closely with the next generations of Weld Range Wajarri Traditional Owners in all First Nations engagement, Rare Earth Creative acknowledges their deep traditions of storytelling grounded in law and culture, and their continued and unbroken connection to Country.
With decades working as a Native Title and Human Rights lawyer alongside her experience producing inclusive, community led festivals and events, and managing and establishing performing arts centres, galleries and museums, Executive Director Raina Savage is driven by her equal passions for the arts and social justice.Rare Earth Creative champions culturally respectful, inclusive,community-led projects across all art forms.
